Our residents at Holy Cross Nursing Home spent the day watching the funeral and reminiscing about the Queen and her incredible service to our nation. Emma, manager of Holy Cross said, “Our residents wanted to create a book of condolences, there are so many beautiful messages in there, it brings a tear to the eye!”
Our residents said, “We had a lovely day together sharing memories, a wonderful send off for our gracious Queen!” One message of condolences said, ‘Thank you for 70 years of service, you are now reunited with your Prince Philip, may you rest in peace.’
I think we can all agree it was a beautiful day to remember our incredible Queen.
