A beautiful day at our St Catherine’s Nursing Home with our residents enjoying the splendour of the day. A special day to remember and celebrate our Queen. Our residents loved seeing the grandchildren, horses and corgis. Wonderful memories were shared throughout the day.
Cakes, nibbles and a special serving of mini marmalade sandwiches and tea were served, which everyone agreed, our Queen and Paddington Bear would have approved!
Emotional messages of condolences were left for our Queen in the chapel. Our John, wrote, “Elizabeth was a good woman and noble Queen. I have warm memories of meeting her and I am deeply saddened by her passing. May God grant you eternal peace.”
