Just when we thought national days couldn’t get any better, along came a day everyone across our charity was up for celebrating … National beer day! And with this glorious weather and football fever in the air who can blame them.
Still on a high from being reunited at their much-loved centre, guests at Parkhead enjoyed a sociable tipple together in the sun, whilst residents at Holy Cross enjoyed a ‘beer and bingo’ afternoon. Residents at our Independent Supported Living service in Kenton had an at home beer garden experience making the most of their beautiful garden.
But it was Hughie, Residents at our home for adults with learning disabilities in Alnwick who really got into the spirit, by going to the shop himself to choose his favourite red stripe cans.
