Autumn Apples in Alnwick

Our home in Alnwick has said a great, big hello to Autumn this week, by putting on an a-peel-ing seasonal activity for residents.

Picking the juiciest and greenest apples from the home’s garden; Hughie, Cheryl and Val all de-cider-ed to take the opportunity to do a spot of apple picking and even make a delicious crumble.

“The summer sun may have said goodbye, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to,” said Fiona, Support Worker. “So we thought it would be nice to make a day of picking the best apples from our garden, preparing them and whipping up a tasty dessert. Our residents certainly didn’t crumble under the pressure!”

Core blimey, it sounds like great fun.
