The temperature may have dropped for us all, this week, but spirits have remained high at our Holy Cross Nursing Home in Sunderland, as residents have been making decorations for autumn.
Set up with a variety of paints, craft paper, scissors, glue and even some seasonal twigs, our residents relished the opportunity to show off their artistic sides. They created resplendent wreaths, perfect pumpkins and lovely leaves to give our activities lounge a lovely, autumnal glow.
“I love how colourful and warm all of our decorations are,” said Trevor. “It’s been great fun doing a bit of art – I think we may even have a few budding Andy Warhols among us!”
We think the decorations look terrific – well
