Staff at our home for adults with learning disabilities in Alnwick were delighted when their frontline keyworker status was acknowledged with some very special gifts.
Before lockdown, resident, Hughie, was often accompanied to church by his friend, Brian who thought a set of specially produced bibles would make the perfect token of appreciation for staff at the home.
Each bible includes an introduction which acknowledges the selfless dedication of keyworkers during the pandemic and our staff have been incredibly moved to receive them.
“We would all like to thank Brian for his thoughtful gifts,” said home manager, Susan. “The bibles are incredibly special and we’re each honoured to own one.”
