It was eyes down for a full house in Browne’s café at the Alan Shearer Centre when tenants from across our independent supported living homes got together for a few games of bingo and a catch up.
Our tenants love a trip out – especially when it’s combined with playing bingo, the chance of winning a prize AND some tasty treats.
Our recreation assistants at the Alan Shearer Centre came up trumps on all counts and there wasn’t a disappointed player in the house.
With the added bonus of afternoon tea and time to chat to friends they hadn’t seen in a while, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon.
“I want to do it again soon,” said Julie. “Look at what I’ve won!”
