It’s been a case of ‘many hands make light work’ at our home in Alnwick this week, as residents have been helping to prepare the garden for fresh flowers for winter.
Our green-fingered friends, Hughie, Val, Kate and Cheryl, decided to leaf indoor activities for another day, as they set about freshening up flower beds and preparing plant pots.
“With the good weather holding up, we thought
it was the perfect opportunity to get our garden all set for some lovely new winter flowers,” said Manager, Susan. “Our residents did a wonderful job – they’d give Alan Titchmarsh a run for
his money!”
We can’t wait to see the new plants, we’re sure they’ll look unbe-leaf-able.
