Our brilliant volunteer, Carolyn, has been putting her creative talents to good use to make sure we have a good supply of exclusive, hand-crafted birthday cards for our staff.
As well as giving our staff an extra day’s leave for their birthday, everyone receives a unique card made by one of our service users and with nearly 300 employees in our charity, an extra pair of hands is always welcome.
Carolyn, who lives in one of our independent supported living services, spends time volunteering in our St Catherine’s nursing home and was delighted to pop into our head office to add her distinctive designs to our stock of cards.
“I love spending time colouring and making the cards,” said Carolyn, “it’s so relaxing.”
