Julia, who is a trained beautician with her own shop in Amble, loves to give something back, so, this year, she asked her mum, Jackie, our Disability Lead, if she thought anyone in our charity would like their nails professionally done.
Jackie rang the ladies at our Independent Supported Living service in Kenton who jumped at the chance to come to our Alan Shearer Centre for a day of pampering.
Gail said, ”I loved being pampered. Having my nails done is such a treat and pink is my favourite colour. Julia is great.”
