On International Women’s Day we’re celebrating some of the wonderful women living in our two nursing homes.
You may be amazed to know that one of our ladies was a singer at the Sunderland Empire and that another taught a few of our staff at Holy Cross nursing home.
But I don’t think anyone would have guessed that one of our lovely St Catherine’s residents was actually the voice of the speaking clock!
