At our Alan Shearer Residential Home, nothing makes us smile more than when our residents get to celebrate – so we loved it, recently, when we got to put on a bit of a celebration.
Our Party Princess was resident, Rachel, who celebrated turning 35 in style – with a good old fashioned party, a bit of a boogie and even a unicorn birthday cake.
“Rachel really revelled in a bit of a disco and celebration,” said Senior Recreational Care Officer, Claire. “Although, blowing her candles out was the real icing on the unicorn cake!”
It sounds like a brilliant bash – we hope you had a wonderful day, Rachel.
