St Patrick’s Day celebrations are in full swing right across our services today.
In keeping with tradition, leprechauns, shamrocks, tasty Irish fayre and Guinness all feature in the fun festivities, but there’s a little of the unexpected, too.
Over at our independent supported living apartments in Kenton, our service users have added an incredible window display to their traditional décor. Made up of pictures of stained glass windows honouring St Patrick, it makes a stunning backdrop for their St Patrick’s Day party.
Our nursing homes in Newcastle and Sunderland will be celebrating in style, too, with lots of hand-made decorations providing the perfect setting for traditional songs, a fun quiz and an Irish-themed afternoon tea.
