Grace, our Mental Health First Aid Champion shares her tips for overcoming #bluemonday:
1. Pick up the phone and catch up with a friend or family member
Now more than ever it is important to stay connected to our loved ones. Make yourself a cup of tea and have a catch-up, this will help brighten not just your days but also theirs!
2. Go for a walk
Walking not only releases endorphins but brings peace in a busy day. Remember to wrap up warm!
3. Listen to your favourite music
Music has a range of positive effects on mood and mental health, it can elevate your mood and motivation whilst aiding relaxation. So go on, dance like no one is watching!
4. Most importantly, remember to be kind to yourself
This has been an incredibly difficult and challenging time, so please remember to be kind to yourself. Treat yourself to a little something that makes you smile.
