There’s nothing our residents at St Catherine’s Nursing Home enjoy more than an afternoon of games in the lounge, accompanied with tea, cake and biscuits.
Whether it be skittles, Connect 4 or Scrabble, Carers’ don’t stand a chance against our residents.
‘Of course, we are good at games we didn’t grow up with computers,’ joked Jean.
‘Don’t be fooled, our ladies and gentlemen are very good at the games and also very competitive, there’ll be heckling involved when they suspect a cheat!’ laughed Activities Coordinator, Jenny. ‘ It’s a great way to bring everyone together and have a good giggle.’
