Our St Catherine’s nursing home could have been mistaken for Santa’s workshop yesterday as our residents couldn’t resist getting together to add a little extra magic and sparkle to this year’s festive decorations.
Armed with glitter, silver foil and a paint palette filled with seasonal colours, our residents chatted and listened to festive songs while they created glittering stars and snowflakes to add to their Christmas trees.
“It’s nice when you make something yourself,” said Mary. “It makes it extra special.”
