We had toes tapping and chair dancing this morning, as residents at our St Catherine’s nursing home in Newcastle enjoyed a few games of musical bingo.
‘Our residents love a good sing-along and some friendly competition, so we thought let’s combine the two!’ beamed activities’ coordinator, Jenny.
Resident, Mary, was definitely in her element and surprised everyone with her music knowledge, recalling every word to each song played. Whilst there was plenty of singing, many of our residents enjoyed a good toe tap and chair dance, too.
Our musical bingo games were such a hit that residents can’t wait to do it all again.
