Yesterday was a special day for Fr Bob, residents at Holy Cross Nursing Home in Sunderland, as he took delivery of his new set of wheels. It didn’t take long before he was whizzing along the corridor – although we aren’t sure he can give up the L plates yet!
‘I feel like I’m driving a Ferrari, it’s such a fun and freeing feeling! I never thought I would be able to overtake anyone ever again, let alone young carers.’ Laughed Fr Bob.
It’s not just Fr Bob who’s enjoying the scooter, seeing him so happy and carefree is fantastic and has given us all something to smile about!
