Step aside, Alan Titchmarsh, and watch out, Monty Don – this week our Holy Cross residents have been perfecting plant potting.
From the comfort of The Retreat – a conservatory area overlooking our beautiful grounds – our green-fingered friends, Grace, Denis and Sr Jude, took turns in lovingly planting autumn bulbs. All with a cuppa and a biscuit at hand, too, of course.
“It’s lovely to be able to get out and do some planting while still staying warm and dry,” said Grace. “I can’t wait to see how our plants progress.”
We’re sure they’ll look beautiful, Grace.
