Residents and staff across our charity fell silent in remembrance at 11am today as they paid their respects to all those who have fought or fallen in conflicts around the world.
Army Veteran, Lesley, who works for St Cuthbert’s Care, joined residents at St Catherine’s as they marked the occasion with a special service in our chapel – where each and every poppy on display was handmade by our talented residents and staff.
“It’s a labour of love making the poppies,” said Selma, “but when it comes together, the result is quite impressive.”
We couldn’t agree more Selma, they are beautiful.
