Watch out Poppy O’Toole – we seem to have our very own potato queen right here in our Sunderland children’s home.
Potatoes are top of the menu for our young person whose favourite meal is chips … and now she’s branched out with something that lets her share her love of the humble spud.
Armed with some hand-knitted potatoes, she’s added her own special message and shared them with friends, our staff and her housemates.
“She’s such a fan of the humble potato,” said Ayesha, Senior Residential Care Officer at our Sunderland children’s home. “We’ve learned everything there is to know about them and laughed at a few potato jokes, too.”
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for those, then!
