Cakes, flakes and fun have all been on the menu this week, as our residential home in Alnwick has been whisked away by baking.
As summer and the warm weather are still very much here, our residents whipped up seasonal cake creations – with some even looking like delicious 99 Ice Creams! Cheryl, Val and Kate all rose to the baking challenge.
Fiona, Support Worker, said: “We’ve all had such fun baking and exchanging stories around the mixing bowls. The kitchen was filled with music and stories of childhood baking with families.”
All that fun AND delicious desserts, too – that really is the icing on the cake.
