When freezing temperatures put paid to hopes of our Holy Cross residents being able to pop out to see the home’s spring garden displays, our staff had just the solution.
If our residents couldn’t go out to see the flowers, staff would bring the flowers to our residents.
Armed with bunches of cut spring flowers, our staff visited each one of our residents to deliver a bright and beautiful bunch of daffodils to decorate their room.
“Daffodils really do represent the arrival of spring,” said Grace. “They’re such cheerful flowers and it was lovely of the staff to bring us a taste of spring when it’s too cold for us to venture outside.”
