Staff and residents at our St Catherine’s Nursing Home have always been a dab hand at a spot of knitting, and they have proven that again this week with some cracking cross-stitches and excellent embroidery.
The latest examples of natty knitwork have come from resident, Nancy, who has been working on a patchwork blanket, and Carer, Caroline, who’s knitted conkers have brought back many a school memory.
“I find knitting so relaxing,” said Nancy. “And it’s always satisfying to see how much progress you’re making – the blanket is starting to take shape now.”
Safe to say, weave been wowed by that knack for knitting.
