Linda, who lives in our Independent Supported Living apartments in Kenton, is loving the new easy reading corner created by our staff.
Together with her fellow housemates, Linda is finding it so handy to have accessible versions of lots of essential information clearly displayed all in one place.
The specialist literature, produced in various formats for people with a range of communication needs, covers topics such as human rights, safeguarding and Covid-19.
Linda has become something of an expert in communicating using Makaton signs and symbols and really enjoys teaching her housemates to use it, too.
“The reading corner is so good,” said Linda, “it makes it so easy to find what I want.”
