Happiness and excitement are nothing new at our Parkhead Resource Centre in Ashington, but a recent sighting had our guests jumping for joy and springing into action to encourage a repeat visit.
Our Centre’s generous outside space has always received lots of TLC to encourage and care for visiting wildlife, and guests have just spotted their first visiting squirrel.
“Everyone loves the birds and wildlife that visit our gardens,” said manager, Claire. “Naturally, we had to rush out to find something that would tempt our new friend to come back.”
With the addition of some tasty acorns, it looks like Parkhead’s squirrel café is open for business.
