Additional Care Services

In addition to our main services, we offer a number of smaller provisions for vulnerable members of our communities enabling them to live independently with varying degrees of support.

Day Care:

Parkhead Resource Centre, Ashington

Whilst we haven’t had an outbreak of Coronavirus at Parkhead Resource Centre, taking into account the underlying health vulnerabilities of our service users and the possible wide spread person to person transmission, we have taken the precautionary decision to close the Centre until further notice.

We will review our decision weekly and will keep you updated via our website and Facebook page.

Our Parkhead Resource Centre provides our service users with appropriate support to enable them to enjoy our programme of stimulating activities and opportunities. Each one is designed to promote independence, choice and fulfilment helps to develop greater self-esteem and build confidence.

If you are interested in using our services at Parkhead, or would like further information,
please contact our Manager, Claire Graham, on 01670 855 561 or email claire.graham@stcuthbertscare.org.uk.

Independent Supported Living

We support a number of adults with learning disabilities in Newcastle and Northumberland, enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own homes. We offer tailored support which encourages individuality, independent living and choice.

Working with other professionals we carefully tailor a support plan for each individual that provides the right level of support for their needs, ambitions and aspirations whilst helping them to develop the life skills they need to maintain their independence and gain confidence as full and equal members of the community.
