This week we have had typical May weather, the sun may shine, it may rain or we may have thunder, lightning and hail. But it hasn’t stopped our residents and staff from embracing the nature theme of Mental Health Awareness week.
Residents from across the charity have been tending their pot plants, braving the rain to visit our local garden centre, having fun playing football or simply spending time relaxing and taking part in therapeutic colouring.
We have all made an effort to notice nature around us. “On my way into work each day, I always marvel at the beautiful blossom tree in the grounds of St Catherine’s.” Said Karen, our administrator, “Today I just had to take a photo for everyone to see just how fabulous it is.”
We hope that you have some time this week to spend a little time being at one with nature.
