There was standing room only in our St Catherine’s nursing home lounge as our residents and their families gathered for a St Patrick’s Day afternoon tea party.
One of their favourite singers, Christine Rosemond, entertained everyone by telling the story of St Patrick through age-old, popular Irish songs that had everyone swaying and singing.
“I think I’m going to sleep with a big smile on my face and a song or two in my head tonight,” said Nancy.
And Christine rounded off the afternoon perfectly with a rousing singalong to Irish Rover with everyone joining in.
