It might still be October, but the seasonal excitement has well and truly begun at our independent supported living service in Kenton this week, as one resident grabbed their wooden spoon and mixing bowl to whip up a
seasonal treat.
With oodles of dried fruit, a bowlful of batter and more than a dash of excitement, Linda, showed off her baking skills by whipping up a scrumptious Christmas cake.
“I love baking and I really can’t wait for Christmas,” said Linda, “so, making a Christmas cake seemed like the perfect way to start counting down to the big day.”
Mmmm, it looks delicious – don’t forget to save us a slice!
