Basking in the September sun

Residents living in our St Catherine’s nursing home have been making the most of the late arrival of summer sunshine.

With a ready supply of refreshing drinks, fresh fruit and summer-essential ice creams, our residents kept as cool as a cucumber beneath their sun hats.

“This is glorious,” said Selma. “It’s like being abroad, but nicer!”

Who would believe it’s only 108 days to Christmas!
