Regular users at the charity’s Parkhead Resource Centre in Ashington will be enjoying some great summer trips following their successful Easter Fair.
A grand total of £205.40 was raised thanks to friends and relatives who flocked to the fair to buy homemade crafts and cakes and stayed on to enjoy cream teas in the sunshine.
“We had a fantastic day,” said Manager Jackie Dunn. “We had loads of visitors and we were overwhelmed with the response. The sun shone down on us and we had our cream teas on the patio – that’s something we never expected in March!”
