John Harris is not a man who is difficult to please when it comes to gifts. In fact he told family and friends exactly what he wanted this year for his 60th birthday; a large donation to The Alan Shearer Foundation.
John, who is a personal friend of Alan, even handed out official 
Foundation donation slips at his birthday party so eligible guests could Gift Aid their donations, ensuring that the Foundation gains an extra 25p in refunded tax for every £1 donated.
We extend our thanks to John and all his friends for their generosity, who contributed a marvellous £3,012.50 in gift aided donations to the Foundation.
