We recently told you how Alan Shearer’s friend, John Harris donated his birthday gifts to help The Alan Shearer Foundation and he seems to have started a trend. We have already had donations for a 60th and a 70th birthday and now we are delighted to tell you that local lady Theresa Brown asked for donations in lieu of presents for her 80th Birthday recently.
Many thanks to Theresa, for her generosity in raising a fantastic total of £436.23 in donations from family and friends.
If you would like to help continue this trend, please contact the Foundation. Alternatively if you would like to start your own trend in fundraising or if you would like to support The Alan Shearer Foundation in other ways you can find out how on their website.
