Holy Cross Residential Care Home in Sunderland opens its doors on Saturday 20 October to anyone who is interested in seeing its facilities and meeting the staff. When St Cuthbert’s Care took over the home in May this year we made a commitment to returning it to full capacity and providing a valuable resource for the city. The home is now registered for nursing as well as residential care, and will be in a position to take nursing referrals soon.
Holy Cross, in the High Barnes area of the city, currently has a number of vacancies. It offers ensuite bedrooms; to which residents can bring their own furniture if they choose, and regular organised activities. We also have in-house visiting services such as dentists, chiropodists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and opticians.
If you are interested in finding out more, just drop in between 10:30am and 4:00pm on Saturday 20 October. Manager Amanda Head and her staff team will be happy to show you round and answer any questions you may have.
