Thank you to everyone who came along to meet Santa when he paid a return visit to Holy Cross on Tuesday and especially to Sunderland Lions who arranged his visit and made sure his sleigh was loaded with gifts.
Children from St Joseph’s Primary School led residents and their families in carol singing before Santa handed out some early Christmas presents. There were refreshments for everyone while they mingled and chatted, before Santa set off to re-stock his sleigh for his next appointment.
Holy Cross celebrations continue next week with a Christmas Eve mass to which everyone is invited. You are all welcome to come along to our chapel at 4.30pm next Monday evening.
