It will take something very special to top Sarah’s recent night out at Newcastle’s City Hall.
Sarah, who lives in our Bailiffgate residential home in Alnwick, went to town with family and friends to see Ronan Keating in concert. She is a big fan of Ronan and had seen him a few years ago when he appeared at Linden Hall in Northumberland.
Sarah said “I had a great time seeing Ronan again – but this time he had flu and had to keep apologising during the show.”
That didn’t spoil Sarah’s enjoyment one bit though – unlike the efforts of staff and friends at Bailiffgate, who have been reminding Sarah about the show by singing some of Ronan’s hits for her. Sarah doesn’t think he needs to worry about the competition.
Last Christmas Ronan was headline act at a spectacular fundraising evening for the Alan Shearer Foundation. The Foundation not only funds the Alan Shearer Activity and Short Break Centres, but also helps to support St Cuthbert’s Care’s disability projects across the region.
