Holy Cross Care Home residents enjoyed a rousing singalong this week when the local corps of the Salvation Army paid a visit.
Eight members of the Salvation Army’s senior brass band played standards including ‘When the Saints Go Marching In’ to residents of our Sunderland care home during the outfit’s visit on Sunday.
“It was wonderful!” said Holy Cross manager, Amanda Head. “The residents, staff and visitors joined in and they all loved it.”
Residents of the home always enjoy the band’s stirring brand of musical entertainment and give a warm welcome whenever the army “invades” Holy Cross.
