A demonstration of some Morris dancing routines featured in our St George’s Day celebrations at Holy Cross Care Home this year.
Liz King, the home’s Activities Co-ordinator, dressed the part in a Morris dancing outfit to show off some moves while residents also donned some traditional costumes and enjoyed singing along to renditions of patriotic songs such as Land of Hope and Glory.
An England themed quiz tested everyone’s wits and St George’s Day celebrations at the home were rounded off with a typically English afternoon tea – with a lovely cuppa!
