A sweet treat is in store for carers visiting the Alan Shearer Activity Centre on Wednesday, 12 June. Between 2.30pm and 3.30pm, carers can claim their free cake, tea or coffee in Browne’s Café to mark Carers Week.
Manager of the Alan Shearer Centre, Jackie Dunn says, “Being a carer is a huge role and brings huge responsibility giving little, if any, time for yourself. We didn’t want Carers Week to pass by without acknowledging these amazing people and offering them a little time to treat themselves to some of Browne’s scrummiest goodies.”
Carers Week runs from 10-16 June.
