If you’ve ever thought about fostering or wondered what it takes to become a foster carer, our friendly Fostering North East team would love to meet you at their foster carer recruitment day at the Cleveland Centre in Middlesbrough on Thursday, September 12.
Fostering North East has been recruiting and supporting foster carers for more than 50 years and members of the team will be more than happy to share their expertise and answer any questions on the day.
Fostering North East’s Development Manager, Sarah Croft said, “Foster carers come from all walks of life, so if anyone wants to foster but thinks they might not be considered, it’s definitely worth visiting us for a chat. They could potentially be person we’re looking for.”
Fostering North East offers every foster carer high quality training, excellent allowances and individual support as well as access to a 24-hour support line to make sure they have everything they need.
The team currently has opportunities for long-term and short-term foster carers, so if you think you’d like to foster, pop along to Middlesbrough’s Cleveland Centre any time between 10am and 3pm on September 12.
If you can’t get along to the recruitment day but would still like to find out more about fostering, visit our Fostering North East website or ring the team’s Development Manager, Sarah Croft on 0191 2424805.
