Come and meet our Fostering North East team at Tesco, Kingston Park on Wednesday, October 23 from 10am to 3pm.
If you’ve ever thought about fostering, come along for an informal chat and find out more about our fostering service; you’ll be surprised at the wide range of people who foster with us.
Our visit to Tesco is one of a series of regular recruitment days around the region which has been instrumental in helping our fostering team increase the number of foster carers on their books by 17.5% in the last year.
Fostering North East has been recruiting and supporting foster carers for more than 50 years and provides every foster carer with high quality training, excellent allowances and individual support as well as access to a 24-hour support line.
The team currently has vacancies for long-term and short-term foster carers and are hoping to fill some of those places as a result of their visit to Tesco, Kingston Park.
More information on becoming a foster carer is available on the Fostering North East website.
