A group of fearless fundraisers are taking a leap of faith for the Foundation.
Dave Dixon, Louise Brumwell, Will Elliott, Nicola Erskine and Richard Hunter, whose son Richie is a regular guest at the Alan Shearer Centre, will be taking part in the Foundation’s very first Tyne Zip Wire challenge on Saturday 19 October.
“I am doing this to give something back to the Alan Shearer Centre for all they have done for little Richie” said Richard, “It’s the least I can do”.
The group will follow in the footsteps of Bear Grills and zip from the Tyne Bridge to HMS Calliope under the supervision of Zip Slide UK.
