It was eyes down and tuck in for our members when they attended a pie and pea event at the Activity Centre earlier this week.
There wasn’t a seat left in the house at Browne’s Café when singer, Phil Sansom entertained everyone with some well-known classics while they enjoyed their meal. Then it was time for a hushed crowd to concentrate on a few games of bingo before chancing their luck on the tombola to round off the event.
Dot Simps, support worker to Helen Moody said, “What a wonderful Centre – and most of all what wonderful staff! Helen always has a fantastic time when she comes here and today was no exception.”
