A massive thanks to Hirst Progressive Social Club in Ashington who have, once again, handed over their annual donation of £1000 in support of our work.
The club members have held a donation drive for St Cuthbert’s Care for more than 20 years, helping to fund our work with children.
This year the cheque was handed over to our Community Services Manager, Kathleen Urwin, by Club Chairman, Kevin Anderson and Club Secretary, John Wrightson.
Accepting the cheque, Kathleen said, “As always, we are extremely grateful to everyone at Hirst Progressive for their generosity. The constant support from the Sunday morning members of the Club for children who are encountering many difficulties has helped us to make a real difference to their lives.”
