Our Holy Cross residents were in fine voice this week when ladies from St Cuthbert’s Church, Sunderland, visited the home.
Accompanied on the piano by one of the home’s residents the church group led a ‘songs of praise’ style rendition of some favourite hymns.
“The residents really enjoyed singing along and one of our residents Bernie played the piano which was fantastic,” said the nursing home’s Activities Coordinator, Claire Lambert.
This week’s activity schedule at Holy Cross includes trips to Beamish Hall for afternoon teas, a walk to Barnes Park and a dominoes contest.
