Carers took part in the special Foster Care Fortnight event at the Alan Shearer Centre in Newcastle where guests of honour were the Prices, a couple who have been fostering babies for the agency for 30 years.
“Everyone took the opportunity to go outside in the sunshine, we organised a treasure hunt, held a Guess Who Fosters game and had a buffet,” said Fostering North East manager Sarah Croft, “It was a lovely evening.”
There was a special presentation to Sue and Dave Price while all the foster carers received a gift of chocolates.
