Members of St Cuthbert’s Ladies Choir were in fine voice to lead the singing at our Sunderland care home recently.
The choir joined more than two dozen Holy Cross residents for an afternoon of songs and prayers in celebration of Pentecost. Hymns included favourites such as I the Lord of Sea and Sky and Shine Jesus Shine.
St Cuthbert’s Choir will be returning to the home at the beginning of July for a sing along session of popular tunes.
This Friday, 20 June, Holy Cross, along with our St Catherine’s home in Newcastle will be opening its doors to the public for National Care Home Open Day. Anyone who would like to find out more should contact our family liaison manager, June Spoors, on 0191 228 0111.
