The King of Rock and Roll (aka Mike Memphis) was back at Holy Cross by popular demand, yet his return performance still left residents wanting more.
The charismatic entertainer thrilled everyone as he took them on a trip down memory lane with some of Elvis’s popular hits, such as GI Blues and Love Me Tender.
There was lots of toe tapping and hand clapping and even a few teary eyes at his performance of Green, Green Grass of Home.
“He was fab!” said Activity Co-ordinator, Clare Quinn. “Our residents really love him and are so excited to know that he’ll be coming back again in the run-up to Christmas.”
