A smart, gent’s watch, a bottle of Prosecco, fancy toiletries and an assortment of sweets and chocolate are among the stack of prizes in St Catherine’s autumn raffle.
Our Newcastle care home’s activities coordinator, Richard Dobinson, has a wide selection of donated goodies on view in the St Cuthbert’s House foyer where raffle tickets, at £1 per strip, can be purchased from receptionist, Angey Brown.
Richard has this week announced the date for the home’s Christmas fete – Saturday, 29 November, the same day that our Sunderland care home, Holy Cross, will be holding its festive fayre coordinated by their activities coordinator, Clare Quinn.
All proceeds from the raffle and Christmas fairs go to the respective homes’ amenities funds which are used to help pay for extra activities, trips out or entertainers’ fees.
